The Australian Maritime Technologies team were honoured to take part in the Walking Off The War Within 2023 Challenge in Ballarat on Saturday.
Walking Off The War Within (WOTWW) is held in memory of Nathan Shanahan, a returned soldier and firefighter, and other fallen Service Men and Women who have taken their own lives after battling mental health issues. WOTWW challenges everyone to throw on their walking boots, grab their packs and march as one.
Several members of our staff participated in the walk alongside hundreds of others in support of this important cause to raise awareness of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder in defence and emergency service personnel.
