As Australia embarks on its biggest naval shipbuilding program since World War II, the number of people choosing to study maritime engineering degrees is at an all-time low.
The Australian Maritime College’s (AMC) Engineering Our Future campaign is looking to change this. Currently underway, the campaign sees AMC engaging with high schools around Australia to actively promote the maritime engineering industry and career opportunities to students.
AMT is proud to be a Gold Supporter of AMC as it spreads the word. Last week, Brett Longmuir joined the Gippsland school roadshow to engage with local students and share his experiences and insights about working in the maritime engineering industry.
